Hello! This is the blog I plan to use in order to update anyone who’s interested in following my trip to Europe!!

To start things off, I’ll summarize my life right now. I started medical school at UNMC in the fall of 2021. Lots of excitement, stress, and late nights of studying ensued. As I write this, I have completed my M1 year. My last ever “full” academic summer break has just begun.

Here are some pictures from my “white coat ceremony” at the beginning of the year. (I was proud of the outfit I found. Leopard print never goes out of style)

Now I am lucky enough to travel to Europe for one month this summer! I have never traveled alone for so long before. But I have proven myself by surviving for four years alone in L.A. and one year crammed in a studio apartment in K.C. during the height of COVID. With further help and advice from wise members of the family who have been abroad, I feel ready to go.
